Service 01 / Books & Print

Books, catalogues and everything printed

Pages bound into a spine, certificates that get handed to someone, boxes that hold a product. We print it, bind it, finish it and deliver it — in volumes that suit the job, not the press.

What we produce

Printed pieces that have to work in the hand

A book has to open properly. A certificate has to feel like it was worth earning. A catalogue has to survive being carried around a trade show for three days. That's the difference between printing a file and making a printed thing.

  • Books & paperbacks
  • Hardback & casebound editions
  • Catalogues & lookbooks
  • Annual reports
  • Brochures & booklets
  • Certificates & diplomas
  • Packaging & boxes
  • Stationery & business forms
  • Labels & stickers
  • Menus & price lists
  • Posters & flyers
  • Presentation folders

02 / Binding & finishing

What happens after the printing

Printing is the easy half. Binding and finishing decide whether a job looks expensive or looks cheap, and the date depends on both. We plan the finishing stage with the print run, so the date we quote is the date we work to.

Binding
  • Perfect bound — square spine
  • Sewn and casebound hardback
  • Saddle stitch — stapled
  • Wire-O and spiral
Finishing
  • Matte, gloss and soft-touch lamination
  • Spot UV and full UV varnish
  • Foil blocking — gold, silver, colour
  • Embossing and debossing
  • Die-cutting, creasing and perforation
Runs
Short runs for a launch or a board pack, long runs for a title that sells. Reprints matched to the first run.
Sizes
A4, A5, B5, square, landscape and bespoke trim sizes cut to your artwork.

03 / Colour & consistency

The brand colour stays the brand colour

Second print runs that come back a shade off are a common frustration in this trade. Spot colours are mixed to reference, proofs are signed off before the run starts, and the paper stock is checked against your artwork rather than a generic chart.

If a job prints across several formats at once — a book, a banner and a shopfront — the same colour management runs through all of it.

  • CMYK process
  • Pantone spot colours
  • Soft proofing
  • Press checks
  • Coated & uncoated stocks
  • Recycled & FSC papers

04 / On the shelf

Bound, stacked, delivered

Jobs leave the workshop packed and labelled, ready for a shelf, a desk or a distribution list.
